Tang BBQ Restaurant

We used the phrase ‘Chinese fab’ or ‘guochao’ (国潮) as inspiration for this project, turning the ‘guochao’ (国潮) aesthetic into a design style where traditional Chinese elements and symbols were expressed in a modern way with plenty of neon-sign splashes throughout the space. Vibrant blues, reds and yellows play against shades of hot pink and green on near-black backgrounds, and ambient lighting features prominently, complementing the lively music, atmosphere and excitement of this popular restaurant.
